Fantastic new opportunity for a Commercial Solicitor or Legal Executive, to join a busy Commercial team based in either Newcastle or Stockton on Tees. The department has a range of experience of working in-house in industry and management positions offering advice on complex corporate and commercial legal issues. Their clients are diverse and range from e-commerce, engineering, IT, logistics and manufacturing to professional services, property and development and retail.
Working in a small team, you will be required to assist clients with non-transactional business advice to cover:
• Terms and conditions
• Commercial contract reviews
• Contractual joint ventures
• Website terms and conditions, privacy policies, cookie policies
• Data protection
• Distribution and agency contracts
• E-commerce
• Franchising
• Intellectual property protection and exploitation
In addition you will:
• Take an active role in business development.
• Attend networking events.
• Promote the firm via social media
• Ensure the highest standard of legal advice and client care
You will need:
• To be a Qualified Solicitor / CILEx – min 3 years experience in commercial law
• To be a team player
• The ability to work under pressure
• To manage multiple cases
• Ability to delegate
• Excellent organisational skills
