Conveyancing Paralegal to concentrate on post-completion work

Well-established North Leeds law firm require an additional Conveyancing Paralegal to join their busy, growing team and concentrate on post-completion work.
You will support the Head of Department and a team of Solicitors and Conveyancers with administrative support to ensure the delivery of excellent client care from inception to completion of their property transactions.

Duties will include:

o Preparing quotes,
o Dealing with straight forward enquiries,
o Diary management,
o Liaising with the Land Registry,
o Preparing SDLT and other transactions,
o Carrying out various requests from the file handlers in order to assist them with the running of the transaction, this could include, ordering documents from the Land Registry, Property Searches, AML checks etc,
o Closing files for completed property transactions,
o General admin support such as photocopying, scanning filing, post collecting etc.
o Typing when required including copy typing,
o Covering the reception area and delivering excellent customer service,
o Taking calls, transferring through to the relevant file handler or taking messages.

You will need:

• At least 12 months experience working in conveyancing preferred,
• Experience of using case management systems,
• Excellent client care and communication skills,
• Good team working and IT skills, including case management experience,
• Excellent attention to detail.

Competitive salary and benefits package including genuine career development prospects. Standard office hours are Monday to Friday – 09:00 to 17:00 though flexibility can be discussed.
