Conveyancing Assistant with 3 years' experience required in Wakefield
An established law firm in Wakefield is looking to recruit an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join its busy Residential Property team.
This role would suit someone with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a conveyancing support role, who is confident handling the usual day-to-day duties involved in assisting on residential property matters.
The Role
You will support fee earners with a busy conveyancing caseload and assist with the smooth progression of matters from instruction through to post-completion.
Duties will include:
- General conveyancing assistant support
- Assisting with exchanges and completions
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and solicitors
- Preparing correspondence and documentation
- Opening and progressing files
- Dealing with basic sale enquiries
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Have at least 3 years’ experience as a Conveyancing Assistant
- Be confident carrying out the usual duties of a busy conveyancing support role
- Have strong organisational and communication skills
- Be able to work well in a fast-paced team environment
- Be proactive, reliable and client-focused
