Private Client Solicitor with 2PQE+ required in York
A well-established law firm in York is looking to recruit a Private Client Solicitor to join its’ team.
The firm is ideally seeking someone with around 2–6/7 years’ PQE, although it is flexible on level and more focused on finding the right person and culture fit. This is a great opportunity for a professional, client-focused lawyer who is also commercially aware and keen to build a long-term career within a large, supportive and forward-thinking firm.
The Role
You will handle a good quality private client caseload, including work for high-net-worth clients, with matters to include:
- Wills
- Probate and estate administration
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Tax planning
The work is described as mid to higher-level quality, offering a strong opportunity for someone looking to develop their expertise and progress their career.
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Be a qualified Solicitor with ideally 2PQE+ with solid experience in Private Client work
- Be professional, personable and client-focused
- Be commercially minded and able to build strong client relationships
- Be looking for a friendly and approachable team where they can make a long-term move
