Private Client Solicitor 8PQE+ required in Wakefield
Our client, an established and well-regarded law firm based in Wakefield, is looking to recruit an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its busy and supportive team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior Private Client Solicitor with at least 8 years’ PQE to handle a varied and high-quality caseload, with particular focus on more complex matters.
The Role
You will manage a broad range of Private Client work, which may include:
- Wills and estate planning
- Probate and estate administration
- Trusts
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Court of Protection matters
- Inheritance tax planning
- High-value and complex estates
- Advising individuals, families and business owners
Experience of handling trusts and high-value estates would be particularly advantageous.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with clients, build strong relationships and play an important role within the continued development of the Private Client department.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- A minimum of 8 years’ PQE in Private Client work
- STEP qualified.
- Strong experience managing your own caseload
- Experience of trusts and high-value estates, ideally
- Excellent technical knowledge
- Strong client care and communication skills
- A practical, organised and professional approach
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- A willingness to support and mentor more junior members of the department where needed
