Conveyancing Solicitor with 3PQE+ required in Durham or Newcastle
Our client, an established and highly regarded North East law firm, is looking to recruit an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join its busy property team. The role can be based in either Durham or Newcastle, with hybrid working available.
The Role
You will manage your own varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- New-build transactions
- Remortgages
- Transfers of equity
- Shared ownership matters
- Buy-to-let properties
- More complex property and title matters
You will provide clear, practical advice while maintaining regular communication with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to networking and business development.
The Candidate
You should have:
- Must be a Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years PQE in residential conveyancing
- Experience managing your own caseload independently
- Strong technical knowledge of residential property transactions
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive and commercially aware approach
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
