PI Solicitor/Fee Earner

Our client, an established law firm with a highly successful Personal Injury department, is looking to recruit an experienced Personal Injury Fee Earner to join its growing team in Hartlepool.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive who is keen to progress their career while handling good-quality cases within a supportive and successful department.

The Role

You will manage a varied caseload of Personal Injury matters, with a particular focus on Industrial Disease claims.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing Personal Injury and Industrial Disease cases from instruction through to conclusion
• Providing clients with clear, practical and timely advice
• Progressing claims efficiently and achieving the best possible outcomes
• Managing portal and non-portal claims
• Meeting relevant deadlines and maintaining accurate case records
• Using the firm’s case management system effectively
• Delivering a consistently high standard of client care

The Candidate

The role would suit a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with at least three years’ relevant experience.

You should have:

• Previous experience of handling Industrial Disease claims
• Broader Personal Injury litigation experience
• Confidence using the relevant claims portals
• Experience of working with a case management system
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills
• A client-focused and commercially aware approach
• A genuine interest in developing your career in Personal Injury litigation

You should be capable of managing your own caseload while also working effectively as part of a supportive team.
