Residential Conveyancing Solicitor with 2PQE+ required in Malton or York
Our client, a well-established and highly regarded Yorkshire law firm, is looking to recruit a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join its busy property team. The role can be based in either York or Malton.

The Role:
You will manage your own varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Remortgages
- Transfers of equity
- New-build transactions
- Shared ownership matters
- Help to Buy and Right to Buy
- More complex property and title matters
You will be responsible for progressing transactions efficiently, providing clear and practical advice and maintaining excellent communication with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors.
You will also contribute to networking and business development, helping to strengthen existing relationships and generate new instructions.
The Candidate:
You should have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ PQE in residential conveyancing
- Experience managing your own caseload
- Good technical knowledge of residential property transactions
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A commercial, proactive and solution-focused approach
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively
Regular access to a car would be advantageous for occasional travel between offices or to client meetings.
