Private Client Solicitor/Legal Executive with 3 years' experience required in Sunderland
Full-time or Part-time considered + Hybrid working

Our client, an established and well-regarded law firm based in Sunderland, is looking to add to its Wills, Probate and Trusts team due to increasing client demand.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Private Client Fee Solicitor/Fee Earner to join a supportive team handling a varied caseload, with work available to suit different levels of experience.
The role would suit someone with at least 3 years’ experience working within a Private Client department in a client-facing role.
The Role
You will manage your own caseload of Private Client matters, which may include:
- Wills
- Probate and estate administration
- Trusts
- Powers of Attorney
- General private client advisory work
The caseload will vary in complexity, allowing the firm to shape the work around your experience while also offering scope to develop further.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Private Client work
- Experience working directly with clients
- Excellent client care skills
- The ability to manage your own caseload with confidence
- A practical, organised and professional approach
- The ability to work well as part of a busy and supportive team
Training and support will be provided, but the firm is looking for someone who is able to pick up their own caseload from the outset.
Working Arrangements
The role is primarily office-based, although the firm recognises that occasional home working may be needed and will approach requests with flexibility.
