Private Client Solicitor with 3PQE+ required in Middlesbrough
Experience: Minimum 3 years’ PQE | Management experience preferred but not essential
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience, up to £60k
A respected North East law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its established Wills & Probate department in Middlesbrough.
This is a key opportunity for a confident and client-focused solicitor who can independently manage a varied caseload and, ideally, support the wider team with supervision or leadership responsibilities.
You’ll handle a wide range of private client matters including:
- Wills and inheritance tax planning
- Probate and estate administration
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Court of Protection applications
- Trusts and elderly client matters
You’ll have the opportunity to help develop the team and take a lead in maintaining client relationships and delivering high-quality legal services.
- A qualified solicitor with 3+ years’ experience in private client law
- Strong knowledge of wills, probate, LPAs and trusts
- Confident managing files independently from instruction to completion
- Excellent interpersonal and client care skills
- Previous supervisory or management experience would be an advantage
- STEP qualification (or working towards) desirable but not essential
- Competitive salary up to £60k, negotiable based on experience
