Newcastle | Office Based | Full-Time Preferred / Part-Time Considered

Our client, a well-established law firm in Newcastle, is looking to recruit a Conveyancing Assistant to support 2 fee earners within its busy Residential Conveyancing team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with conveyancing support experience who is looking to join a friendly and supportive firm in a stable, office-based role.

The Role
You will provide day-to-day support to 2 fee earners, assisting with a busy residential conveyancing caseload and helping matters progress smoothly from instruction through to completion.

Duties are likely to include:

  • Supporting 2 fee earners with residential conveyancing matters
  • Using their case management system
  • Preparing correspondence and legal documents
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and third parties
  • Opening files and assisting with general conveyancing administration
  • Helping to ensure matters are progressed efficiently and accurately

About You
The successful candidate will:

  • Have previous experience in a Conveyancing Assistant or similar support role
  • Be confident using case management systems
  • Be well organised with good attention to detail
  • Have strong communication and client care skills
  • Be able to work well in a busy team environment

Hours
The firm would prefer full-time hours, 9am–5pm, but will also consider part-time applicants working a minimum of 3 days per week.
