A respected and busy law firm in Leeds is looking to recruit a Conveyancing Assistant to support their growing Residential Property team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least a year’s experience in conveyancing who wants to further develop their career in a modern, supportive firm.

The Role Includes:

•              Assisting fee earners with a full caseload of residential property transactions (sales, purchases, remortgages)

•              Handling post-completion work including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications

•              Opening and closing files, AML checks and document preparation

•              Liaising with clients, estate agents and mortgage lenders in a professional and efficient manner

•              Maintaining accurate case records on the case management system

Requirements:

•              Minimum 12 months’ experience in a residential conveyancing support role

•              Good understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion

•              Strong organisational and administrative skills

•              Excellent communication and client service skills

•              Ability to work independently and as part of a team
