An established law firm in Sunderland is seeking an experienced Childcare Solicitor to join its’ specialist Family team.
You will manage a caseload of public children law and care proceedings matters, providing high-quality advice and representation to children, parents and other family members.
The role will involve handling complex, sensitive and urgent cases, so you must be able to work confidently under pressure while demonstrating empathy, sound professional judgement and excellent client-care skills.
The Candidate
You will be:
- A qualified Solicitor with at least 6 years’ PQE
- A specialist in care proceedings and public children law
- A member of the Law Society Children Law Accreditation Scheme/Children Panel
- Technically strong and able to manage a busy caseload independently
- Experienced in representing children, parents and family members
- A confident communicator with strong advocacy and case-management skills
- Committed to delivering a sensitive and professional service
