Commercial Property Paralegal with at least 12 months' experience required in Leeds

Working Pattern: Office-based initially, with hybrid working available following a successful probation period


About the Role:

An established and respected law firm in Leeds is looking to recruit a proactive and organised Commercial Property Paralegal to join its busy Real Estate team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to build on their legal experience and develop a long-term career within a friendly and professional environment.

You will work closely with experienced fee earners, providing essential support on a wide range of commercial property matters, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and landlord and tenant matters.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting fee earners with all aspects of commercial property transactions
  • Conducting legal research and due diligence, including Land Registry and local authority searches
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and correspondence
  • Preparing reports on title and assisting in the preparation of leases and licenses
  • Managing files and maintaining accurate records
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, and third parties
  • Supporting with post-completion work, including registrations and file closures

About You:

  • At least 12 months of experience as a Paralegal/Legal Assistant in commercial property
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting fee earners and clients
  • Confident working independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
