Regulatory/Criminal Solicitor, 0-3PQE required in Leeds
Are you a talented and ambitious solicitor looking to join a leading law firm?
We are representing a leading law firm in Leeds who are seeking a bright and motivated Junior Regulatory Solicitor to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of criminal regulatory matters, including health and safety, financial services regulation and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting senior lawyers in advising clients on complex regulatory issues.
- Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents.
- Attending client meetings and providing practical legal advice.
- Staying up-to-date with regulatory developments.
- Contributing to business development initiatives.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Qualified Solicitor with a strong academic background.
- At least 6 months solid regulatory/criminal experience across one or more of the following areas: health and safety, environmental, product, food, consumer, regulatory defence/criminal defence work.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A keen interest in regulatory law and a desire to develop a career in this area.
