Well established law firm in Newcastle are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join their team.
You will provide typing and other secretarial support to their family department. There will also be an opportunity to support other departments within the firm as and when help is required. Full time or part time hours available.
Duties will include:
- Word processing/typing of correspondence and documents,
- Sorting incoming post,
- Diary management,
- Assistance and support to fee-earners in time recording and billing,
- Liaising with clients and others as required,
- Other admin duties, e.g. filing, photocopying, scanning.
You will need:
- At least 2 years experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally in family law or conveyancing.
- Good and accurate typing skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- A professional telephone manner.
- Good communication skills, learn quickly and be adaptable.
- Good IT skills – experience of case management systems advantageous.
