Our client, a well established firm based in Skipton, require an experienced Legal Secretary to join their busy Family team ideally on a full time basis, but will consider part time candidates too.

Our client, a well established firm based in Skipton, require an experienced Legal Secretary to join their busy Family team ideally on a full time basis, but will consider part time candidates too.

Duties include:
– audio/copy typing using digital dictation,
– answering telephone, taking messages,
– liaising with clients,
– opening and closing files ,
– diary management,

– assisting other departments when necessary and helping to cover reception.

You will need:

– At least 2 years experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally in family law,
– Experience of Digital Dictation and case management systems preferred,
– excellent word-processing and audio-typing skills,
– a professional telephone manner,
– outstanding organisational skills and
– a typing speed above 60 wpm.

Salary will be negotiable depending on experience.
