Clinical Negligence Paralegal with at least 12 months' experience required in Leeds

We are representing a leading Yorkshire Law Firm who, due to growth, are seeking a driven and meticulous Clinical Negligence Paralegal for their office in Leeds city centre.

This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with at least 12 months’ experience in a similar role to contribute to meaningful cases and advance their career within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.

About the Role:

As a Claimant Clinical Negligence Paralegal, you will provide crucial support to our experienced fee earners, assisting with all aspects of clinical negligence claims. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the management of a caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters.
  • Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and witness statements.
  • Conducting thorough legal research and gathering evidence.
  • Liaising with clients, medical experts, and other professionals.
  • Preparing and organising court bundles.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case files.
  • Supporting fee earners in all aspects of case progression.

About You:

  • Minimum 12 months’ experience as a Paralegal in a Claimant Clinical Negligence role.
  • Strong understanding of clinical negligence procedures and legislation.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and case management systems.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.
